About the Klassic

Simply put: Erik was a man for others who was loved by his family and friends. His 1990 Gonzaga classmates had a simple notion: establish a fun, lasting way to celebrate Erik's life and grow his memorial scholarship fund at Gonzaga. In the summer of 2007, The Klassic was born. After months of preparation and hard work by family, friends, donors, sponsors and volunteers, an organizational committee launched the inaugural Klassic on May 9, 2008.

We haven't looked back. We will continue to celebrate Erik in May 2017 at our Tenth Annual Klassic and hope you can join us. While golf is the order of the day, we want you to join us for a day of fun. The Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic is our way of inviting golfers, volunteers, sponsors, family and friends to celebrate Erik's life and assist the sons of active duty military personnel to afford a Gonzaga education.

You can sign up here at our website to donate, sponsor, volunteer or just golf. Before doing so, we urge you to explore our site for testimonials about Erik as well as information about his service to his Nation in the United States Navy and his scholarship fund at Gonzaga. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to become a part of our community and our celebration as we get closer to The Klassic.

Thank you for your interest and for visiting our site. To Erik!
