About The Klassic
Erik’s fellow 1990 classmates from Gonzaga had a simple notion: we needed to create a way to celebrate Erik’s life and to grow his memorial scholarship fund significantly at his alma mater. In the summer of 2007, The Klassic was born. After months of preparation, an organizational committee launched the inaugural Klassic on May 9, 2008. We hope to carry this tradition forward for as long as we can!
The Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic is our way of inviting golfers, volunteers, and sponsors to join us in celebrating Erik’s life and in assisting the sons of active military personnel to afford a Gonzaga education. While golf is the order of the day, we want you to join us for a day of fun. So please sign up to join us at the next Klassic! Following our initial success in 2008, The Klassic has expanded to two courses in order to accommodate at least 288 golfers.
